WorkSmart offers access to a group term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance plan through Lincoln Financial.

Life insurance offers a way to give your family the financial means to cope with the death of one of its members. WorkSmart offers this protection for employees as well as spouses or children. This term insurance is offered in amounts you choose to meet your family's current financial needs, and at more favorable rates than you will find for individual policies. Term insurance, the most common type of life coverage, is designed to meet fluctuating needs as your family changes. Your designated beneficiaries receive the insurance amount you choose upon the death of the insured person.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D) allows you to tailor WorkSmart's life insurance offering to better fit your personal situation. AD&D provides additional benefits if the death was the result of an accident or if the insured suffers accidental loss of a limb or eye. Premiums for this group insurance are also more favorable than for individual policies.
